The place is filled with trinkets that have called out to me. Please be mindful of not accidentally taking them and treat them as you would handle your possessions.
What am I paying for?
The entry fee to enjoy the space for a total of 4 hours. In addition to it, you will have access to unlimited tea and certain arts/crafts materials to help you relax, books and games to help you unplug from devices. Please click on Visit Us to see our latest deals and pricing.
What should I wear?
Request to remove footwear at the door. Socks are welcome. Dress comfortably to be able to soak in the experience.
When do I need to arrive?
In your 4 hours of reservation, you can come anytime, leave anytime and re-enter if you want to.
Where are you located?
We are located inside Open Heart Studios. The address is 638 Torrance Blvd, Redondo Beach. Please knock when you are here, and you will be let in.
What is your cancellation policy?
This is a small business. Strict no-cancellation policy, please and thank you.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Please make a reservation online. There are no walk-ins.
Can I come alone?
Yes, absolutely! You can make new friends or just enjoy the space by yourself. Maybe even take a nap!
Can IÂ bring friends?
Yes, absolutely! Each person will need to purchase a ticket. However, to maintain a cozy atmosphere, parties larger than 4 will not be allowed.
Can IÂ bring pets?
For the harmony of the space, please no pets allowed.
Will there be food or beverages for purchase?
To encourage no-spending, food and drink will not be available for purchase
When should I arrive?
You can come and leave as many times as you wish in your ticketed time slot.
What should I bring?
Please leave your conscious and unconscious biases at home and arrive with an open and compassionate heart.
Can a group area be reserved?
We have 2 rooms that can be reserved exclusively for a small group (4-6) activity like long board gaming, book club, knitting circle etc. Please contact us connect@cozythirdplace.com for more details.
Where should I park?
Our building has nine (9) parking spots available directly in front. Additionally, there is free street parking around the block on Torrance Blvd and Irene Ave. Please be mindful if you park in front of a residence. Please do not use the parking spots that are a part of the adjacent business.
Do you offer a subscription model?
Yes! If you are one of our frequent visitors, we want to give you a discount. Please reach out to use for further information.
Can I bring and work on laptops/tablets?
During the daytime sessions, you are welcome to come with a device and use it while relaxing in our space. However, the evening sessions are meant to unwind and unplug, so we request to keep laptops at home and enjoy connecting with people or yourself.
We are at not responsible for lost or stolen items
We reserve the right to ask guests to leave, without a refund, if the house rules are disregarded or if the well-being of any guest or the host is threatened. This is a space to connect and build a community, not cause disruption and malaise.
